This will be a half-day event with invited guests from Cornish villages to talk about the role of technology within their community.
The main feature of the event will be a live video link up of a series of Village Halls across Cornwall to Plymouth University. Through the video link we will showcase some examples of what the future of ICTs and the community might be, with each Village Hall presenting some examples of initiatives they have been involved in .
The main aim of the event is to raise awareness among Cornish rural villages of the ways in which digital technologies might support and sustain local communities.
